Hospital Alarm Management Notification
CC ICare provides hospitals with the ability to connect to multiple monitoring equipment and send alarms and information directly to those responsible.
One key example of this is when a patient is connected to a blood pressure monitor, IV pump and EKG. By setting specific monitoring parameters, we can provide nurses and doctors with real time information on the status of these alarms. If the blood pressure exceeds a certain parameter, we capture this information and immediately send the BP reading to a wireless device such as a SpectraLink or Cisco wireless phone or even to a Blackberry. If there is no acknowledgement of receipt of the alarm, then an escalation process can begin by sending the same information to a backup team.
The end result is real time vital information sent to staff who are mobile so that there are timely response responses to the event. And in the end this contributes to better patient care.
Full statistical reports are available by a simple click of the mouse, allowing the hospital to monitor response time and analyze trends.
